About

This site is set up as an emergency means for us to keep in touch with our FRiends, who are real Conservatives, and have been purged and/or disheartened about what has been happening at FR.

Update (Sunday January 31): The new forum is shaping up very nicely.

February 1, 2016:

Consistent Conservatives, come and join us at conservativecircle.org.

As mentioned before, the membership is required to post. We don’t want any trouble makers to follow us into our new Circle.

All the other posts and pages at Consistent Conservatives WordPress site will be closed for commenting, except the one for the caucus discussion.

  1. Looks like it worked….thanks. I was thinking, why not just start a facebook page. I mean, can’t you have the same format on a FB page? Bascially post news articles then comments? And it doesn’t cost anything. Just a suggestion.

  2. WordPress is terribly complicated and confusing. On Jan 24, 2016 10:38 PM, “Consistent Conservatives” wrote:

  3. Fellow Free Republic zottee here. I have not yet made up my mind on Trump/Cruz, but I fell in one of the many purges before this one.

  4. Hi everyone. JR posted this site on FR, so I thought I’d stop by and commiserate with y’all a bit. Makes my heart ache to see FR getting run into the ground like it is. I don’t mind a good debate, but it has degenerated down to grade school bully tactics, and the mods are knocking off the wrong people.

Thing is, people are what they are. Even if we create a “conservative utopia” here, the anti-conservatives will come and try to ruin this too. Supposedly, FR has rules to protect itself from such infestations. But the rules are not being observed, or selectively observed. It’s lawless there right now. They need something better than rules. They need a binding constitution, an FR poster bill of rights or something, which even the site owner would be bound to. I’m not sure how that would work. Just something to think about. Now I’ll go drown my sorrows in a cup of cold, vitamin D milk.

    Peace,

    SR
